From the class of Berlitz: June 8th

Useful Expression in English, No.2

Useful Expression in English, No.1

I have read some books recently.
I have read some books in these monthes. There were "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, "Discourse on the Method" by René Descartes, "Beneath the Wheel" by Hermann Hesse and "The Apology of Socrates; Crito" by Plato and so on. It was most interesting books for me was "Crime and Punishment" (You can freely read the whole of this book to see this link. Note that page is unusually heavy.) in these pieces. It is a very masterpiece though this is just common speech. To read classical writings is good when we are young and college students. Incidentally, these books were all translated editions, that is, written in Japanese. I did't read in English or other languages.

What would you like to change the college?
"What would you like to change in Todai?" This was the question suggested in today's Berlitz lesson. We made a suggestion based on our usual thinking: There are few girl students in the faculty of engineering. That's why how does Todai increase number of girl students?

Second day of MF; that sucks!
Hello guys, this is Kazu. Today was the second day of Todai May Festival (MF). I got up after ten in the morning and my cell phone rang soon. The call was from my mother and father. She said they were going from Waseda station to Todaimae station. In fact my parents and her friends came to Todai to meet me and to see the festival.
